Known for his instinctive focus on character and performance, Josh’s work blends elevated visual worlds with a grounded, playful sense of humour. His directing style is driven as much by a love of cinema and music as it is by an appreciation for the absurd, always chasing ideas that feel fresh, distinctive, and above all, genuinely funny.
Josh has a proven ability to build rich, memorable worlds, from crafting the visual identity and tone for Empire of the Sun’s ‘Walking on a Dream’, to delivering standout commercial work like his campaign featuring Valtteri Bottas for Uber Carshare. Whether developing stylised universes or capturing nuanced comedic performances, he brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to every project. Off set, he plays guitar in a band - an extension of the same creative energy that fuels his work.
