Star Alliance wanted to launch the new campaign platform, Together. Better. Connected. Star Alliance exists to elevate and advance the experience of global travel. Celebrating Star Alliance’s 25th anniversary through a forward looking lens and communicating the power of travel and in person connections during COVID times, recognising that restrictions will be different from place to place and throughout the course of the year.

What we did
Remotely Cast a ballet choreographer, musician and 3 ballerinas from around the world. Choreographed a ballet and music over zoom. Our choreographer and musician: Kenny and Nonto from London. Our ballet dancers: Amanda, Alexei and Ayami from Chicago, Berlin and Tokyo. We recorded all these Zoom ballets and various interviews in the run up to the performance. We scouted amazing hubs globally for the main performance site and landed on Rio Di Genaro, whose airport has a state of the art Star Alliance lounge. As a direct link from the world coming out of COVID and travelling again, we moved from the remote Zoom rehearsals to a live rehearsal in London and Rio and then the final performance with a stunning view of Rio.
